The only thing that attracts rats is garbage lying around. Get rid of the garbage and your rat problem will disappear on it's own.

@SandWitch Nope, grain is the most common rat attractant, that's how cats became our symbiotic partners to control rodent infestations when agriculture built up civilizations.

@SandWitch There many different kinds of rat, they don't all depend on garbage. California foot hills are infested with them.
