Broken wing

So the lady across the way from me, she minds her own busines, takes care of her kids, stays to herself...
But today I kept seeing her walking around the pool house so I just assumed one of her dogs had gotten loose. Then I saw three more people just standing at the pool house looking at something in the bushes. I was so curious but I didn't walk over because I wasn't real sure what I might be getting myself into.
Come to find out, there was an injured buzzard hiding in the bushes. He must have gotten hit by a car so they were all waiting for the wildlife center to come get rhe poor guy!! They rescued him!! 🤗🤗🤗

I'm glad he's okay. My goodness you guys handle animals different than we do in the country. In a good way. You would never hear of a large bird rescue here ever unless a eagle or a hawk

The poorthing. I hope its going to be ok. Thanks for the news. I hope you can get an up date on it.

@Eddiesolds I think he'll be fine. The people stayed there with him until the wildlife center got here & rescued him.

Bless their hearts for saving a bird that most probably had a hard time coping with our civilization 🦅

They void their bowls if they get hit by a car. Their stomach acid is so strong it will eat the paint off of a car when you hit one. So you have to wash the car very quickly.

Ohhhh
The poor guy
I hope he’s fine

@Emilia8577 When they ran him out of the bushes, I could tell his wing was broke. But our wildlife center is pretty awesome so I'm sure he's in good hands 🙂

@Tumbleweed that’s good 👍🏻
Tumbleweed · F
@Emilia8577 He was a young one & the young ones try to run out of the road rather than fly so I bet that's what happened.

if you can, please keep us informed.

@samueltyler2 It was very sad. I don't know how long he had been there. But the lady across the way got me curious so I kept watching & I saw them rescue the poor thing.

@Tumbleweed the raptor center is very interesting, they take animals around to teach children, and even their grandparents, about their services.

this poor thing was blind in one eye, there is no way it could survive in nature, since it could not hunt.

@samueltyler2 Aawww poor baby 😔
