Could have ended in loss
This morning, 8am at the cricket, I set my camera up on the tripod in the hopes a Galah and it's chick would roost in one of the trees at feeding time.
I am sitting in my car, watching the cricket, waiting for the Galahs to appear, I would be ready.
8.30 I go to the shopping centre to buy a lotto ticket and place a couple of horse bets.
Back to the cricket, parking at a different spot.
3 hours later, I decided to go for a walk in the adjoining bushland. Looking for my camera, it suddenly dawns on me that I drove off, leaving my tripod mounted camera on the other side of the oval.
The first thought was, stupid me, second thought, camera will be gone. Thinking this time I will buy a video camera with attachments. Maybe $1000
I traipse over to where I set it up. lo and behold, the camera is still there.
