Two New Friends in Our Neighborhood

A mature white ibis and a juvenile white ibis were hanging around behind our house this afternoon.

Nice. The most exotic/unusual birds we've found in our yard were a turkey vulture on day, and another day we looked out the kitchen window and saw three wild turkeys checking out the yard.

@ChipmunkErnie The turkeys are cool! We get a lot of water fowl around here in the creek and marsh: egrets, herons, ibis, ducks, etc.

@ChipmunkErnie They can be large. We had them where I used to live and hunt.
