@CrazyChick21 The woodlouse spider is small but quite distinctive, beige and red in colour. I don't thing we see them very often because they probably prefer the same sort of damp, shady hidden corners that attract woodlice.

The one that bit me was in my closed hand. I saw it at work and was taking it back outside, but evidently it didn't understand my noble intentions!

I've unwillingly fed many mosquitoes and midges over the years but only been stung twice, by wasps. Both incidents were years apart, and both my fault. They had landed on me and I instinctively went to brush them away but trapped them under my hand. If I had left them alone they would soon have flown away, but it is a bit alarming when they are on your head or face.

@ArishMell one of my friends nearly died because of wasp stings. She was stung seven times and she was severely allergic. She had an epi pen but her heart stopped twice. To my knowledge I have never been stung but I don't like them all the same.

@CrazyChick21 Oh, I know some people can be very allergic to bee and wasp venom. It is quite rare but still very serious.

I'm glad your friend recovered.

That looks like a wind scorpion. The have nasty double fangs.

@CrazyChick21 OMG You are like my wife, another crazy chick. 🫨 She relocates every bug and critter. We had mice in our horse stables. She captured them and relocated to some orchards down the street
