What the heck? Earlier today I went to take out the trash and there was this HUGE COW SPIDER so I took a shuvel and smacked it!
And then smacked it again! Yup it was dead!!! And then.... Just now I went outside to look for my cat and low and behold there was a GIANT COW SPIDER right in the same place!!????? Like did another one move into it's territory? Did I not unalive the first time? Was that just a piece of dirt that I thought was the squished spider? I'm like what the heck??? I am terrified of spiders! Especially the BIG ONES!!!
@saintsong As a kid I caught rattlesnakes and scorpions, the back patio was lined with jars, aquariums, and other various containers with various different bugs in them, mostly caterpillars turning into butterflies, and a few tadpoles here and there.🤓 Sometimes a preying mantis or 2.
@UnderLockDown OMGoodness My sister Sherry was just like you!!! Anything that creeped or crawled she would bring home growing up! I am certain that she discovered new species along the way!!! She was a hoot! I love anyone who reminds me of her, it brings back happy memories! Especially the nest of catapillars escaping from the bird cage !!!!
