and proceed to um, take a slice🤭 while she unwraps her gift. 70% of male spiders bring fake gifts made from old insect parts and seeds wrapped in silk. Seems a bit risky considering she might eat him.🤔 So even spiders can be cheap.😂
A paltry gift indeed, but not all spiders are so selfish and stingy. The male of many other species will offer himself be eaten by his mate as soon as he has completed the business of mating, and in many cases she'll pay his gift forward by allowing her babies to eat her.
