I Love Animals and Nature

The saddest thing I've seen in my lifetime is so many animals becoming endangered. From Monarch butterflies to Bengal Tigers, life on Earth disappearing at an alarming rate from a multitude of reasons that mostly boil down to the greed and ignorance of Mankind. There have been estimations that we've lost half of the wildlife on Earth over the past 40 years, I can see it myself in my own backyard. Certain species like Box Turtles and a particular Garden Spider that were common sites when I was a kid are rarely, if ever, seen around here anymore. This is a science fiction concept made real. It's heartbreaking and doesn't bode well for any life on Earth including ourselves.

Humans have a frontal lobe, which means we have all the facts, we know what can happen in the future, and what we are doing and yet still we carry on destroying this beautiful planet, and all the animals around us, with all the full facts we still carry on our path of destruction

lots of the people with the most power deny the facts and not enough of us who stand against "authority" and their denial. We also still have the other parts of the brain like the fear producing amigiodula. I'm not making excuses for it I'm saying those are some other facts. As a psychology major I know that unfortunately humans just like other animals tend to take the easiest route in thinking.
