Not a great day
It started out pretty normal. Joel got home and showered and we were having lunch before we went to the movies. My tiny tornado was talking about baseball and his hand hit his glass and he spilled his drink on himself, his almost empty plate, Joels lunch and Joel. Joel took him and helped him change them he went and changed. I asked Joel if he wanted me to make him something really quick and he said no, he didn't want us to be late for the movies.
We get to the movies and get everyone in their seats. We give them their popcorn and water. About half way through the movie Joel told me he'd be right back. He got a few seats away and sat down. I went over to him and asked him if he was ok. He said he was feeling dizzy and lightheaded headed. He said he needed a drink but all we had was water. So I went and got him a soda pop and after about 15 minutes he was feeling better. I've never seen this happen to him before. He said it wasn't happened either. Lucky the kids were playing attention to the movie and didn't notice. We got home and he seemed fine the rest of the evening.
Than the night got worse. We were sitting outside watching banana ball and the boys were playing in the yard. My tiny tornado announced he had to go to the restroom and was heading in the house. Then he let out a horrible scream and started crying hysterically. Joel and I both ran to him. He was crying my foot my foot. I pick him up and Joel looks at his foot. He was not wearing shoes and the poor kid stepped on a bee. I do my best to calm him down as Joel gets the stinger out of his foot.
Daddy am I going to die
No kiddo we'll get you cleaned up and I'll give you some Tylenol.
But it hurts so bad
I know buddy do you want a ice pack.
Yes and I think a s'mores would make me feel better too.
Of course buddy. We can do that. I
take him inside so he can go to the bathroom and I get the icepack
He sat on my lap the rest of the evening and enjoyed two s'mores.
His foot is a little red and bruised but other than that he seems fine. He fell asleep in my arms and I just held him until we put him and his brother to bed
Joel also seems fine as well. Still not sure what caused him to not feel good at the movies like that.
What a crazy night
