@UnderLockDown Yes they are quite smart my landlady has one in with a pony. They are buddies and walk to fence together for the attention.

That is pretty amazing! I read a fantasy novel recently where donkeys were used to keep horses calm. I guess a donkey and a horse can develop quite a bond!
