CATS ALWAYS. I have always loved cats and always will. I don't like being jumped on all of a sudden haha and I don't like to hear dogs barking all night. Cats are much cleaner and easier to take care of and always love to welcome you home and their love is unconditional, yes, like dogs. I love the way they cuddle on your lap and you're so soft and sweet. I love the sound of their purring and I love to watch them take baths. It's so cute. I'm hoping I can get another one soon. Don't get me wrong. I love dogs too, all animals but I just prefer cats for companionship.

@DavidT8899 I know. I was raised with cats, dogs and birds. Plus had them for pets as an adult. All of them show emotions.

Cats. They basically take care of themselves. I can't do dogs sadly. I like them but I can't. It's too much work and they're expensive.

@Spoiledbrat I agree with much of what you said,with one caveat:cats are much more self-reliant than dogs,but they still need our help to be taken proper care of.And they do want and need love and attention from their owners.
