Why kill the Tiger

This bothered me this morning and i'm glad to see i'm not the only.
There are so few of these beautiful animals left and some A-hole thinks its a kitty kat and gets it killed..totally sucks.

That was a tough call, though. The tiger still had his arm in its mouth, according to what I read.

Maybe after the victim gets well they should shoot him, too.

The first deputy kicked the fence in an attempt to free the man...

What a dumbass! That's almost as stupid as the guy that put his hand in the cage. Ever try to take something from a house cat? They can be scary, and they just try harder to keep their prey. What the hell made him think that kicking the fence would do anything helpful?🤦‍♂️
I hope the guy recovers well, but honestly, stupidity this profound should hurt... I mean, it's a TIGER!!🐯

I think the zoos where these incidents happen bear a large part of the blame.

They KNOW if there is any access to the general public, somebody will get in. Security should be a higher priority.

I watched the bodycam video of this, earlier today. I wish very much, that the deputy had tried at least [b]one[/b] thing other than kicking the fence, before shooting Eko. He was, however, faced with an undeniably foolish human screaming for help because his arm was being mauled.

It is terrible and sad, but this time I'm not sure blaming the police officer is warranted.

Alas, as a society we still value the lives of human beings (even [b]stupid[/b] ones) over animals when it’s a matter of life and death. I’m not sure that it could be any other way. A tragedy all around. 😞
