I really want to take a good, long break from drinking once fall starts

It’s been a while since I’ve been on a really bad self-destructive binge, but I do still drink. Mainly when I’m hanging out at my sister’s place. But she’ll be closing up her pad for the season by the end of the month and when she does, that’s when I plan on stopping. I want to be able to say I’ve gone a good while without drinking. Desmond himself said when we started living together, that he would like me to try to not drink as much in our home. And our house is technically his. Even though we’re in a relationship, he’s still listed as the head tenant with me as his roommate on paper, so I want to respect that if he doesn’t want drinking in his place. I’m really going to try.
