America really needs to get a grip on ITS pumpkins spice addiction. It also needs to get a grip on its grammar. "Its" should not have an apostrophe.

@Crazychick
I did pretty well in English class

but this isn't English class, so I don't care

@Crazychick I've gotten so numb to people making that mistake that I somehow missed it.

@caPnAhab I genuinely don't understand that mentality. Like, if you know better, why would you want to look like you don't?

@LordShadowfire My phone wants to auto correct to it all the time. I can't be bothered to go back and correct every minute typo

@caPnAhab Sorry. I just get kind of obsessed whenever my phone makes grammatical or spelling errors on my behalf. I probably look like some kind of lunatic half the time, because I'll be dictating into it, and then I'll stop the microphone and be like, "No, that is not what I said!"

@LordShadowfire
yeah no worries. It's annoying.

And of course I'll correct a mistake if it makes my meaning unintelligible.
@Crazychick When it's is short for it is, there is an apostrophe. It's difficult to state rules for the use of "it". The English language, let's face up to it, it's filled with irregularities.

@Alfred22 You make it sound like it's hard to know when it's appropriate to use its, but it's pretty simple.
Crazychick · 36-40, F
@Alfred22 @LordShadowfire You folks are making it out to be more complicated than it really is.
