It can take a lot of work or sometimes just time but getting your fun back on after addiction is completely doable.

Your brain chemistry needs time to recover.

@AntisocialTroll Spot on ...... and that's the main reason people relapse........ because life just seems so fucking boring without stimulants. Until you finally rediscover your real self.

In recovery, our idea of fun changes.
Give it a bit of time. And relish every small bit of improvement, including the release from compulsive, self-destructive behaviour.

That is not a healthy philosophy. You likely have been an alcoholic so long that you forget how wonderful life can be sober. Do you want to stop drinking or doing drugs? I do not know what is your addiction. If you want help, reach out. Otherwise your life will continue to sink and you will physically and emotionally deteriorate. Have you tried professional help? I think you are asking for advice.
