Why do women gossip more than men ?

@4meAndyou i worked in a mans field of work for quite a few years, the men were horrible with gossip....geez louise. I would stand there with my arms crossed and roll my eyes!! 😂

@SW-User I have a good friend, whom I call Turkey man, and when he was out and about in the world with me, I would have to sit there on the curb while he ran his mouth with almost [i]anyone[/i] he could talk to.

@Nimbus I've always known men to be just as gossipy. The quality of the gossip might vary a bit, guys tend to be more direct, and some women are more mean than the guys.

@AbbeyRhode it was that way at a couple places where I have worked. Some of the young people at Walmart would take very frequent bathroom breaks to check in on Facebook. One greeter told me that on his last day of work, he would stay in the bathroom about 15 minutes at a time. Before I quit there was a stink raised about online gossip about a married couple who worked there in the deli. They were stupid enough to use their real name and post things and the couple found out and reported them. And at the university there were two men who would shirk their duties daily, we’d see them huddled up talking and if we walked by they would speak louder about work scenarios.
