People Hurt..Everyday..

we become so tied up and focused on outselves that we forget that other people exist. and they are just as broken as we are

I’m not broken
This is weird to me. I would never forget that other people exist. I also don't think everyone is "broken", nor do I think of myself as "broken".

Thriving (though a bit struggling because of the current system) would more of what comes to my mind concerning myself and mostly everyone else.

"Hurt people, hurt people" is just the way most (most are good) people try to cope with the actions of narcissists, psychopaths, and others who are cranked up in the head.

@Magicianzini That's an interesting take. Because of extreme abuse in my past for years, I became shy, inward, quiet, and because I rarely take risks, I viewed myself as less capable than others, therefore my VALUE being Less🙁 I have viewed myself therefore as very broken. But the word you used, HURT, could be just as, if not more than true.

Thanks, Bec it's been a horrible battle trying to find any way to shift my perspective of myself. It's always remained tainted. But *Hurt,* well it makes me see me clearer..

Many people that suffer extreme trauma, truly believe no one could be as broken as they are,it's very isolating.

One of the advantages of having a large support group of friends is that we are aware of each other's issues and do what we can to help. There are secrets, of course, and we know that.

.. some people use that as an excuse to attack innocent people who have done nothing to anyone ever
