Do you find it hard to communicate with some people(a lot of people)?

These days I’ve been thinking about how everyone has their map of the world, a term that I learned from reading Scott Peck (the road less travelled), he says we all have our own map of the world, and it’s different from everyone else’s. To connect with another person you need to talk a lot communicate in order to understand their point of view and their opinions on everything., it can differ in far greater detail from your own…
I think you need to talk A LOT, to be understood a little

Yeah, I have a similar philosophy, except I always called it a different page instead of map 😅

And often I'm surprised at how much differing views can be very similar when the smaller nuances are understood.

It's like different, but then when you understand each other, it's like: "ooooh, you mean it like that? Fair enough, understand where you're coming from"

Not all the time, but more than I expected because people are relating to their own experiences first, but are capable of relating to other people's experiences when shown the other person's page.

I like the map analogy tho,
