there was a time neighbors helped and checked on each other. expressed appreciation for help with chores.

i blame the stranger danger initiative in the 80's.
we taught ourselves to be suspicious of everyone.
and the divide grew and grew..

I have two sets of great neighbours.

It's still that way around here when there is a need.
