Say you and your kids stop at the ATM to pick up some cash.
Say a man with a gun approaches you and want your cash.
What do you think you would do?
Or better yet if you have been in this position what did you do?

I was mugged with a knife at my throat when I was 17. I handed over the money, and then spent decades feeling shamed because I didn't fight back -- comes from growing up in a John Wayne/macho ethos.

@ChipmunkErnie I can feel it for you. That is the area I grew up in as well.
But life isn't like it is in television, is it?
Thank you for your honest answer.

@ChipmunkErnie There is no shame in submitting in that predicament. I have been attacked by people with knives a number of times, but I was wary of them and was able to come away unscathed. The first time I was 13 and it was a 12 year old with a 2 inch pocket knife that straight out stabbed me.. Like I said there is no shame in submitting or running away.

@Thevy29 My mind tells me I had no choice, but emotionally I couldn't help but think a "real" man would have fought.

@ChipmunkErnie No, a real man was SMART, intuitive, and that was you.🦋

@ChipmunkErnie like I said I feel for you. Real men dig their own Graves often.
There is absolutely no shame in living to fight another day.
The only thing I can think of is the phrase a man's got to do what a man's got to do.
Everyday you wake up is a day that you earned by acting like you did.
Thanks for your honest comment.
