Do you have good skills in manipulating people?

Yeah I'm good at it. I had to learn how to keep myself safe when I was a kid. We all do it to some extent whether we know it or not.

At some point I chose not to be that person. It was pretty easy to ditch because I was so desperate for authenticity once I wasn't enmeshed in my families BS.
