The NRA's success

While watching a news item the other night on its annual convention, it occurred to me the NRA's marketing arm is very successful.
They sell guns to anyone, and then when people start getting shot they scare the crap out of the rest of you to buy a gun to protect yourselves.

It works, it works well!

The constant push for legislation to restrict or ban firearms is the greatest marketing tool out there. Even Obama acknowledged he was one of the best gun salesmen around.

But hey...blaming the NRA is one of the leftist favorite tactics. Yet gun grabbing Bloomberg's Everytown For Gun Safety out spends the NRA like 20 to 1 pushing gun control. Just another gun control failure to toss on top of the mountain of other failures.

@sunsporter1649 Obama the fly fishing fraud. Zoom in on Obama's hand holding the fly line. It's slack. If it's truly "fish on," the line is taught.
@sunsporter1649 BTW - have you caught any peacock bass recently?
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@BizSuitStacy Unfortunately not lately, had a cold snap, followed by some big time bad weather you may have heard about. With all that rain, the water looks like chocolate milk
@sunsporter1649 Sorry about that. I fished last Friday.

A yellow perch that kinda looks peacock bass-ish.

The trout ran small, but this one was decent.

@BizSuitStacy That perch, aside from missing the spot on the tail, could easily be mistaken for a peacock
@sunsporter1649 it's a pretty fish. Fought pretty hard for it's size. Unfortunately, an invasive species where I live.

@BizSuitStacy Peacock are invasive here, too, but not nearly as bad as the damn otters
@sunsporter1649 true about the peacocks, but what a great game fish! We've got an otter problem in our lakes too.

@BizSuitStacy Good fight, smart fish, love getting one on line

@sunsporter1649 eat the perch. Or use for catfish bait.
