@ElwoodBlues I made a plate with some and tried a test fire a few years ago. It should have had more sand in it. I tried using bone. It tore. But it did fire ok otherwise. The color came out yellow without glaze.

@ElwoodBlues The indians up here would make pottery from the local clay. Shards of it are found occasionally.
