I Love Running

@Feuerstern so much better than the road.

I am lucky to have a place similar where I run myself. It is really great.

The Pic is from a path on a little college campus. Glad places like that exist.

@Softandsweet2 Yes indeed! It is good to know that people appreciate such things too.

@Feuerstern I try to go every weekday morning when it's warm enough. I love to be outside.

@Softandsweet2 I love to be outside also, no matter what the season it is. The place I run is also a good place to go clear your head, or take a nice long walk.

@Feuerstern Mine is just a 1 mile loop, but it's on the woods mostly. Has a creek and a small pond. It's paved too, so doesn't get muddy.

Nice, mine has a pond too, but there are different paths, all concrete that I can take depending on how far I want to run. I think a full loop would be 6 or 7 miles.

@Feuerstern Wow - it would be nice wools he nice to see different scenery instead of the same thing all the time. I run three laps now and 5 when I build up to it. Pass the same thing a lot

@Softandsweet2 Yes but at least it is beautiful scenery to see over and over again. And yes I am pretty spoiled. I love the early morning runs I do on the weekend there.

@Softandsweet2 We have a place in our town
its actually marked so people know when they have walked a mile .its a circle drive around a large lake ,,ducks and geese ,fishing is allowed ,lots of park bench's
over exert yourself its also in front of the hospital ,county courthouse but they also do part of the Blue & Gray reenactment there ,I guess 2 of our lakes played a big part in the civil war ,we have many lakes and parks here
we even still have dirt roads for that laid back Sunday drive just to get away from the city and slow down


This is not a lake I would choose to relax ,its a popular place to walk and jog ,,at lunch the nurses from the hospital walk there and employees from the Tax office and court house ,,you may even see our Mayor out there from time to time ,He is a well loved man
Our parks and recreation and events that raise money for our youth are big deals on his agenda ,,this lake is always clean ,and well stocked by the fish and game
duck and turtles love it there
There is even a gazebo open to the public at 2 of our parks
My Girls love to go there to practice for a sing
Its a growing real fast city ,but its also a farming community ,,the people have not forgot were blessed or our kids are our future
Swimming ,boating ,parks ,Rodeo's and carnivals and fairs
there is a lot for the young and old to do here
Down town is like stepping back in time ,,but it has everything ,,the buildings are old ,,not the attitudes
