I Witnessed Corporal Punishment At School

Some years ago I corresponded with a woman who had been for a short time, in a pro-CP campaign group around the time of the debates on banning it in British schools.

Sally said they'd hand out questionnaires in shopping-centres around her English Midlands area, and she sent me a copy and a summary of the results. About 70 had responded to about 100 forms; all predictably saying "Yes" to CP's retention - Sally said it was something of preaching to the converted.

The questionnaire was amateurish, not exactly good statistics, and somewhat salacious in details; but I noticed that the results showed the women tended to be crueller than the men.

This did surprise me, I must admit. My pen-friend wondered if the men knew their greater physical strength so were a bit more wary of going too far.

Sally was all for erotic adult spanking, hence our pen-friendship, but said she left the group when she began to suspect the murkier motives of some its leading members.

@angie8819 All the matron said was to report the fact of the caning. No-one said anything in reply, so the subject was changed. But I inferred from her tone of voice and facial expression that she was pleased the caning had happened. And I suspect she might have been the sort of lady who enjoyed giving boys a good spanking. But all this is, at best, intelligent guesswork on my part.

I certainly did not want to cane the unfortunate boy. When I was much older I might have enjoyed caning the matron or one of her successors, but that's another story. 🙂

@MartinII Again conclusion is being reached without consideration of the facts. It was commom for the person reporting a boy to witness the punishment and in a lot of schools for the "protection" of the person administering the punishment another teacher was present, to prevent any unfounded complaints. I think it is rather unfair because matron witnessed the punishment to say she enjoyed it. It is another case of people jumping to conclusions about people who saw cp without knowing the reasons why they were present

@canemesir6 you make it sound as if you were the only one to get caned. In the 1960/70 era certainly in private schools between the ages of 8-13 it would have been very rare for a boy not to have been caned at least once and most woukkd have averaged at least one caning a year in the 10-13 age group. Also its worth noting most privare schools caned on the bottom rather than the hands. These private schools as a rule made boys drop their trousers before bending over and were caned across their pants.....however in many private schools pants had to be pulled down as well and the cane used on the offenders bare bottom. It was common for boys to get caned on their bare bottom......going back to my school days i was very often on the receiving end of a hard bare bottom caning. You just bared your bottom and bent over....no shock horror that you were going to be caned nor that yu had to take your pants down, nor that as i was in an all boys school the rest of the class witnessed you getting it bare.
