I Love My Mom

I live with my mom
we are alone since my father died two years ago

But a close friend for my father keeps visits us
He acts like a father to me and takes care of us always

I was wishing him marry my mom, but he is married
Recently he became speaks a lot with my mom
I do not know what they're talking about
because my mom became tell me to go to my room when he's around

Are they talking about some work
Or about my future
Or maybe there other secret???

How can I know that?

I would let your mum having her time with him, the reason why she doesn't let you be near is probably a good reason...after-all, you can't be always around - not in a bad way,..but if she want to have a secret let her have....one day also you will have a ''secret'' or you wouldn't like to be interrupt by her.

And about your wish,...let them be what they are, maybe she doesn't want that or i don't know,...they sure know what is best for them.

PS:...does his wife ever come with him?

It's hard to say. You can't really know unless either they tell you or you listen in without them knowing. But your mom may be protecting you by keeping it from you.

Also, since he is married, I would hope that there isn't something more going on between them, because when one or both people involved are married to someone else, the outcome is almost never good.

What I meant by that was it's hard to say what they are talking about, what their secret might be.

I know how hard it can be to live with strict parents. I hope your mom continues to be loving toward you.

I guess you just have to wait and see what happens, and in the meantime remember to live your own life to the fullest and try not to worry too much about them. I know that's easier said than done, when you love your mom so much. But you have to take care of yourself first.

If it's something life-changing, or important, that's happening, you'll know eventually.

Honey, sometimes people need to have secrets. I think you should try not to focus on things you don't know, instead of speculating, why don't you talk to your mom and tell her how you feel? You never know... She could fill you in on what they've been talking about.

From what you are saying, it seems to me that you having feelings that are uncomfortable for you, and you believe the distressing feelings will be alleviated once you know what this man and your mother are keeping from you... Seems logical, since the unwanted feelings are being caused by the secrecy, once you know what the secret is, the unwanted feelings disappear.

Looks like you've reached a dead end. Since the obvious solution is not feasible, perhaps it would make more sense to find another solution to your problem, instead of creating another problem.

Not knowing why, and for what, your mother needs a private moment... Doesn't have to be a problem, if you explain to your mother how you feel, maybe she can put your mind at ease, without sharing with you her reason for needing privacy
