I Am Losing Weight

(This will be a rant sorry) :)
I used to be fairly close to obese so I have been losing weight for a while and have been doing so well (ended up in a healthy weight but still fairly high with a little more to lose) but today I went to a party and I assumed there would be at least salad, thus I didn't have dinner before going out. When I went to the party there was absolutely no healthy food so I ended up eating a lot of junk which I had not done in a long time so I am worried. Does anyone know how I can lose the weight I have gained from today? Also, how long should you wait before weighing yourself after a junk food session? 😂 I was doing so well so I just want to fix my mistakes from today. I made a promise to a friend that I would stop over-eating so I feel bad that it happened. 😟

I wouldn't worry too much about one downfall. Just return to your healthy lifestyle immediately. You'll be fine. I promise. :)

Inspiration ng for the wright loss and being conscience of what is going in your body. Sometimes you don't have q choice and sometimes it's okay to splurge :). It helps from really taking steps back because you miss something so much.

As far as the weighing thing I would just give it a few days maybe a week but I am far from an expert

Take a deep breath, and wait a couple days before re-weighing. In the meantime just resume your diet.

In my experience, in days where I did something like this my weight would "spike" a couple of pounds and then return to normal and back on target within a week. It's nothing to worry about.

Thank you :) I did eat extremely healthy before the party so hopefully I don't see too drastic of a gain...I guess I will just take this as a learning experience :)

We are all human, with our frailties! Exercise a bit more, rest well,but continue eating healthy foods!

Yeah :) I had quite a few sweet foods and it's sugar that always makes me put on weight :s but I learned a lesson 🤔 From now on if I am going out to a party for hours, I should always bring at least one healthy snack just in case 😂

I do treat myself once every month or two...but not to a large extent like today 🤔 I guess I will just have to accept the fact I had a cheat day and go back to normal tomorrow :)

It doesn't effect you that way ,if your working out ,your fine
