As a little girl, my mom and I would play a game. Upon her lap she would silently mouthe words. I'd try to guess what she said
One time she silently said... I love you
My best 6 year old guess was alligator food. 🤭
Years pass and as I grew up my hearing improved but she developed cancer...
Before her death, five years ago today she gave me a locket. I think of her each time I put it on and read the inscription inside...
