Any remedies you guys have for chest congestion.

Sounds funny but, something like eucalyptus, or menthol,or rosemary, frankincense or vicks vapor rub, a chest rub ointment or spray.

rub over your body - amd step into a hot shower,

all the fumes rise with the steam and you breath it in.
It calms a cough, but... It lifts mucus,

At a pinch you can use anything that is a decongestant ( amd if you don't want it on your skin, soak a face washer and hold it under the hot spray.

Best part - you can just cough it up and spit it out - no tissues and stuff. Plus -having a shower helps one feel, and sleep better.


Also - dont put the fan, on - let the bathroom steam right up, and stay in tjere as long as the air is steamy.

Amd yeah, Loke someone mentioned - get outta bed, sleep om tje couch sitting up as much as possible - this'll reduce the aggravation thatakes you wanna cough.

If the weather is cold
Get out in the early morning and go for a walk - fast walk

Adrenalin is a natural decongestant and the cool air is good for the soft tissue of your lungs.

You need to get checked because you could be going into pneumonia.

A decongestant will help you cough it up and clear it.

If your lungs are filled, see a doctor ASAP. You may need an inhaler.

Inhale water vapour and exhale.
