Any tips for quitting smoking?

I can only seem to quit for a month or so at a time. When I want to quit for the rest of my life.

I came to the conclusion that to be able to quit you have to address two addictions. The first being the nicotine which I used the patch to wean down. The other being an oral fixation and I bought large boxes of Tootsie Roll Pops to combat that addiction. Good luck and keep up the effort. It took me three tries.

Keep quitting...seriously. I smoked for almost 40 years, would periodically quit and start up again...keep at it. I have been tobacco free for almost 12 years now. I tried all sorts of tricks, what worked was cold turkey....just accepting the fact that I could never try to smoke again.
1. Avoid your 'smoker' friends

2. Replace your urges with nicotine gums and treat yourself to an ice cream or vanilla coffee.

3. Download smoke free app, so that you have some encouragement and motivation to not smoke every day.

If you start again after the withdrawals are over, it’s a psychological fixation. Often chewing gum or something else of the sort can replace that until the mental addiction subsides.

After a month the withdrawal symptoms have gone. There’s no reason to start again

analyse your cigarettes, when do you smoke and then cut them away one by one, take the time you need for it.

Don't..........your going to die from something anyway and quitting will only make the liberals happy.
Just stick to 'No to smoking'!...It's all about the will!...I wish you Good Luck
