I Want A Home By The Sea

I would live in the woods I think, if I could.

It’s my dream

I live on Blackwater bay that opens to Pensacola bay that opens to the gulf of Mexico that opens to the Atlantic. When strong storms pass nearby, the water rises up into the yard, and I have to rake up saw grass and seaweed when it recedes. It's great to sit out on the back deck and watch the dolphins and pelicans, and we have this huge blue bird that comes and hangs out on the dock from time to time. The thing is about 4 foot tall with long legs and a long bill. It's been coming around for ten years now.

MMy home is just 150 yards from the sea.

I absolutely love the sea, and I'm lucky enough to have lived near it all my life. I grew up on Maui, with the ocean all around me. Now I live right next to it, as my office is just two blocks up from the beach. My home is four blocks up. I can't live without my Vitamin O!

Being in NJ I am always near some type of water. From the sea it's about an hour, the bay is very close by:)

i had friends who 'had a some by the sea' they were always repairing it.

they moved inland again after 17? (or so) yrs. i miss it, gave me an excuse to go to the beach.

ya know, drop by, see friends.

(long as i brought the toke, booze and some fud.)

I want one close to natural waters too. I am unsure if in a log cabin in the mountains or near a beach. I am elemental. I have to feel it near me. Mmmmmmmmmmmmm...

I would love this too. Have you considered a guided meditation? This way, you can always go there no matter where you are physically.

That's a good point I hadn't considered. Repairs. The oxidation in the air, saltwater eroding things...it could be a rough element to deal with if the home is right on the water.
