I Want A Home By The Sea

Do you have a home by the sea? If so, how close to it? Have a home on another body of water? Being close to water feels embryonic and soothing to me. I long for a home close enough to the water to hear it, feel it, sense it.

That's a good point I hadn't considered. Repairs. The oxidation in the air, saltwater eroding things...it could be a rough element to deal with if the home is right on the water.

What about by a lake ?
Salt concerns would be gone.

@Lunadelobos: I did live about 10-15 minutes from a lake, but had to move due to family obligations, caring for elders. I would love to live by a lake again if the sea didn't pan out for me.
