If you could push a button now that would end your life instantly and painlessly, would you be tempted to push it?

Yes.I am fed up with merely existing.10 months now and no hope in sight.I would welcome death. No rugby ,no cricket,no concerts,no company, treated like a leper by my paranoid sister,no one over the doorstep since February. What’s the point?

@TheSirfurryanimalWales Not sounding good. And I know you do your homework.

The statement by Gething - was it similar to this one?
[i]"This first delivery plan for our strategy, sets out what we are doing to support people of all ages across every part of Wales to make healthier lifestyle choices. Small changes in our everyday habits can bring significant, lasting health benefits for us all."

England sounds like they are still a bit imperious with the way they treat Wales.

@Abstraction Sorry, not trying to be annoying!
@Abstraction that is about something entirely different.

I'd rather push a button to show me my future

@CestManan excellent, tax free, and ready on a cold, dark, Feb. night. ;)
CestManan · 46-50, F
@SW-User hahaha, well you might have to wait til they open the next morning.

Aren't we on a roll!

BTW, I didn't mean that original comment in the "Death month" thread to sound malice.
SW-User
@CestManan with the time difference, it should work out perfect!

seems that way!

no worries.
SW-User
Nope. I won't allow myself to give in to my darkness though I do at times have dark thoughts. I hope you wouldn't either.
Ruth7253 · 56-60, F
@SW-User I am glad and I only ask this because I know so may people are feeling bad right now and it is almost like we cannot say it. Well we are and we do and the govnmts who are doing this to us have a lot to answer for.
SW-User
@Ruth7253 Yes. We need to encourage one another as much as possible. Thank you for caring about us.

@Degbeme Good Answer.
cycleman · 61-69, M
if only my parents weren't around, I probably would've. I wanted to too many times but I never wanted to hurt Mom. I wish all that was required was to clap my hands and I be gone for Good! No mess, just vanished into thin air.

Yes, I’ve been saying I hope I don’t wake up in the morning past few weeks
Ruth7253 · 56-60, F
@Jeffrey53 and millions of others all over the world I suspect!
I would be more than tempted. I've been wanting to make my transition for a long time. Painlessly sounds so good. 🙏
SW-User
Ni, things might not be great but I have a good life and family and have plenty to live for.
Allelse · 36-40, M
Not right now but I'd still like the button.

Next month, perhaps. The holidays are a bad time for me.

@SW-User Thank you. That’s very kind. 🤗
SW-User
@bijouxbroussard you are always kind to me, and we've known each other since this place started. 🤗🤗🤗

No. I don't believe that its my right to end my life. I didn't give myself life. It is a gift and its my duty to appreciate whatever I can of it and make the best of it. Some people are dying and would give anything for one more day so no matter how I feel I bear it.
SW-User
No. There are plenty more chapters in this story and I'm not done until the end. Whatever happens, I'm never choosing to end it. There isn't one ounce of quit in me.
empanadas · 31-35, M
i rather die normally
