I Hate My Life Sometimes

[c=#7700B2]seems to be when stuff starts going ok for me in my life, my depression sets off and I feel like absolute crap for ages, gets to the point of just being out of bed is a huge struggle. all I want to do is sleep and just hope that I don't wake up ever again...
damn that's a nice thought.
I hate my messed up brain so much :( [/c]

I had bad depression a while back, but was able to beat it naturally. A couple great books that helped were "Depression Cures" and "The Art of Happiness" - yike, yes religion a bit with this book lol.

[c=#7700B2]that's awesome to hear you beat your depression and naturally. I will look up those books thanks..
I have been on anti depressants since I was about 14 and it never goes well when I go off them[/c]

@PlumBerries: Thanks. In my case it was not all chemical (hopefully that is the case for you - if you start to unravel your behaviours and mindset and find some factors that could be assisting the depression). Maybe in a PM if you want to discuss at some point.

I think this has to do with the weather sometimes... in my home country it always feels like that during spring... you feel so lazy and can't open your eyes.. you struggle every morning to get off your bed!! I don't know about your home country though

It sounds like you're accustomed to misery and anytime things are looking up you get a paranoid fear that more bad things will happen. Does that sound about right?

I'm sorry. Hope you speak to a dr about this. There are many options to manage it well and have the happy life you deserve.

Sorry to hear it, I know how hard it can be to get up and moving when all you want to do is sleep.

Well have you thought about talking to someone about it?
