So it happened again. I got stood up for a Starbucks date. ๐๐ Itโs 5 minutes away from the off-site class I teach at, so at least it wasnโt too far. And to think I fixed myself up for him. Ass ๐๐
I have another coffee date tomorrow, but Iโm positive THAT date will show up. He seems like a nice guy & very respectful towards me.
These guys just donโt seem to have manners or the guts to be upfront. For some of them, theyโll flake on me if they know I wonโt be hooking up with them. They feel like they donโt want to make that effort for a coffee date first or waste their time. ๐
I donโt understand why multiple men would arrange to meet you on a date and then not show up....itโs just baffling. If they donโt want to go on a date, they shouldnโt agree on a place and time.
Sorry that happened. I donโt know the story but certainly sounds rude an Iโm sure itโs frustrating. Tomorrow sounds encouraging. Respectful is an impressive quality. ๐
Haha. Youโd think so right? But a lot of times I donโt get anything, even if my date offers to get me something. And if I do, itโs just green tea. Itโs just a neutral place to meet, thatโs cheap, & there are tons of them around. @Selah
Yup. My colleagueโs 48 yr old sister is dating as well, but sheโs been stiffed at nice restaurants by guys who say they have to go to the bathroom & then take off. So then sheโs stiffed with a bill thatโs over $100 because these guys also ordered drinks. How deplorable is that! ๐ง๐ @Selah
Do you think they lack self confidence when it comes to face to face meetings? Or maybe theyโre really socially awkward...or maybe theyโre chicken ๐๐ค
Even so love... It don't take buts few seconds to msg or call n say sorry can't make it... Just a matter of good manners and thoughtfulness... @marsbar
