Why does anyone bother to talk to me [i]before[i]I’ve had any coffee?

I don’t even know what was said or what I agreed to. I really didn’t answer, it was more of a grunt in response to whatever he was saying.

When I was much younger, I'd be up for an hour knocking back coffee before husband and daughter, neither of whom were morning people. It was like setting up a breakfast table in a herd of drowsy, cranky buffalo. I suspect to them it was like trying to keep sleeping in a horde of mosquitos.

Forewarn people who might do this when you are both awake and feel better about the course of the day. My brother is one of those people who crabs about getting up at the hour he does and you say the "wrong" (to him) thing.

@BettyBeez Some people aren't teachable about some things. My brother - I love him as a sibling, but he gets crabby all the time. Do you know, because he has a car phone in his phone (handless) he'll call me about something or another because he wants to know/ask me something and he's in traffic? The rules of the road say, "Don't drive distractedly." He did it again just tonight.
