Yep, had a lady go on almost all my posts just to look for errors and to correct and argue with me.
I finally had to block her

@Butterflykisses24 She was and not just to me.

@SW-User Good riddance.
SW-User
@SubstantialKick It was a real contention for her. It was like we were offending her by not using the correct grammar, pretty weird.
Butterflykisses24 · 51-55, F
Worse. I had a sad post and instead of being comforting they corrected my grammer.
SW-User
@Butterflykisses24 That's dumb and sorry
Butterflykisses24 · 51-55, F
@SW-User thank you.
Indy74 · 46-50, F
Yep, happened to me!! I blocked the dude. He deserved it!!
SW-User
@Indy74 oh hell no! Wtf?
Indy74 · 46-50, F
@SW-User I made an error that I missed in an answer to a post and this British guy jumped all over me for bad grammar. People like that need help just as much as the others.
SW-User
@Indy74 Good grief!🙄
LadyJ · F
Yes the grammar police here take their job very serious 😏

It wasn't even grammar, it was style. He didn't like the way I was wording my questions. So I called him a "pedantic prick" and cursed him out a few more times and then ultimately blocked him.

There was someone on here with multiple profiles, male and female, British, who used to snipe at people who didn’t speak English the way they thought it should be spoken, even down to slang terms.
I once saw this person get angry at a poster who said he was “really pissed” at a family member about something. She came on berating him for being an “alcoholic”.
In the UK, “pissed” means “drunk”. I explained to her that here, “pissed” is short for “pissed off”, meaning angry. She wouldn’t hear it and got angry at both of us for “trying to destroy the English language”.
It was surreal. 😳

I think this is the same person that used harassed me@SubstantialKick @bijouxbroussard

@SW-User Yes, it sounded really familiar. I encountered at least 6 different profiles that I believe were this one person. And when I blocked one, the rest all blocked me, thankfully,

Yes but I pay about as much attention to it as I would a door knob
kodiac · 22-25, M
Yes, grammer nazis👺
SW-User
No.
@SW-User Lucky you.
SW-User
@FrogManSometimesLooksBothWays Nah. No one catches my errors because no one reads my stuff. 😁
No, but glad you blocked him. Who has time to nitpick like that!?
@DecafD Nitpik should be hyphenated nit-pik. 🤣😝😛
@FrogManSometimesLooksBothWays hahahhahahahha!!!
SW-User
Yes. I use to get annoyed. But now, when someone corrects me, I thank them and fix that mistake.
Yelled at? Over the Internet? You mean there's an audio hook-up option on SW? Cool!
SW-User
How do you yell over the net 🤔 I take nothing serious on the net.
I've seen some get weird with fairly minor errors
SW-User
You double dog discovered it!
deadgerbil · 22-25
Not yet thankfully

@MethDozer Nah, it was NoSmoking or something like that. I do know you're referring to though.
