I Have Fibromyalgia

Those with fibromyalgia can relate to this song

Pain, you break me down
You build me up

I have Acromegaly, I apparently have had a pituitary tumor messing with my body function since I was a prepubescent girl - I too can relate to this song. Plus all the loss I’ve dealt with from the time I was a little girl.

@Underconstruction gracias I’m going to look it up. I thought I read that they can also make it in capsul form.
But I probably could just add it to my ginger tea
Oh, brain fog! I've had that nonstop since I was 15 (31 now. Doesn't seem like more than half my life like this.)@KaysHealingPath

@KayraJordyn I hate it so much. I’m sorry to hear that.
Exercise helps. Started with walking.
@KayraJordyn I do walk quite a bit.
That's good! I added elliptical and this stationary bike. The arm movement alone helps my neck and back pain on the bike. @Underconstruction And the relief is slightly there almost immediately after, the energy increase happens the next day, and the day after that the real pain relief starts. One thing I've learned in pain management classes is to cut high-impact work in half and intersperse it with low-impact fun. Then get back to it. Over time it increases your capacity for time spent on the high-impact work. It's difficult to explain in so few words, but I can send a pic of my homework to anyone who wants to try it.

I like the song, thanks for sharing with the lyrics.
@Ladyryan You're welcome. One of my favorite songs.
Yes ma'am. Me too. 😂 Chronic, daily migraines 17 years, chronic daily muscle spasms, ice pick headaches, now arthritis and fibro. Have to find joy in moments I didn't even used to process or the pain takes over.

I'm so sorry you're suffering. I hope you find some relief!
@KayraJordyn Thank you. Yes, there are days that are harder than others. I have tried to keep medication to a minimum and instead change my lifestyle. But it's something that progresses slowly no matter how much you try it not to.
I just saw this from last year. Man, I was in a much better place, pain-wise. (However, I was broken up with the next day, lol. Oy vey!) I had been taking courses in chronic pain in the city. I wish I was in that place now! Physically, mentally, emotionally.) My heart has been in sinus tachycardia since August, and I've been on a med for it since then that makes me gain weight. (I look like that Michelin marshmallow mascot guy!) Anyway, I intend on changing meds and my future. It's good to look back, though, and see where things were back then! Thank you. :) @Underconstruction
