I Have Never Been In a Relationship

31 and no real relationship. The one guy I was with for a year, it turned out he was living a double life. So... Was he really in love with me? Was I really in love with him?
I've erased that from my life and since then I've been unable to trust men. Been almost 10 years... Wow.

@Beardedguy it's life. What can I do? If I was able to pick up on the clues I'd have walked away from him a long time ago. The sad thing is everything g he did has impacted my life in such a negative way.

I don't trust men
I hate my body image
I don't want to be close to my family

All because of this 1 guy. Crazy.

@MovieMusicGal What he did was so wrong. But stop giving him the power to control your life still! Trust takes time. Do you need to see a counselor? Someone to talk you through this. You could do it on your own. Won't be easy. Don't let that one ass-wipe determine your love life for the rest of your life!

@MovieMusicGal Guys like this ruin everything for all of the rest of us (on top of the damage done to their former significant other). Well, it's not just guys, a lot of women do this crap too. Either way it's tragic and sad. I know it doesn't mean much, but not all of us guys are untrustworthy. I wish you the best and hope you find better.🤠
