You guys sound like a bunch of goody two shoes! Where’s the drama in your life! Lol. My generation (Z) has a lot more things going on and then you guys do! I feel bad for your generation.
BORING 😹🤣
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@PetiteJulie01 How dare you! So lazy and irresponsible.
PetiteJulie01 · 22-25, F
@MarkPaul Wow you just can’t help the fact that you’re just like us! Shows how much you know that you don’t know me! I’m not a child anymore I’m 19.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@PetiteJulie01 Well, then welcome to the adult world. Now, start acting like an adult.
That is true. They also are having less sex than their parents did at the same age.

Yet they are also overwhelmingly liberal. It's almost like everything a conservative says is automatically wrong.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@IAmJess You started out that way, but we had to push you out because of your reckless driving. Sorry.
@MarkPaul Hahaha 😂😂😂
@IAmJess I think you have to at least remember 9/11 to be an official millennial. I've also heard "90s Kids," so if you weren't even alive in the 1990s, you can't be one of those.

Regardless, it is getting a little silly. Technically, I'm a Boomer since I was born in 1962, but I don't have much in common with Boomers born in 1946. I heard a podcast about the Boomers where they divided them into "early Boomers" and "late Boomers." And "Generation X" has to be the stupidest name, like no one could think of what to call them after "The Greatest Generation" (oh, please, thank you Dan Rather for that one) and their kids were "the Baby Boom." So "Generation Y" was renamed "Millennials," and since your generation is after "Y," you're "Generation Z."

I haven't heard a name for what they're going to call kids born in the 2010s yet, hopefully they won't have a name and we can stop this nonsense. My grandparents were born in the 1890s and nobody felt obligated to come up with a name for that cohort, the World War One generation I guess, if you have to call them something.

So wish I had this at my fingertips the other day! Thanks for posting! Hey @TexChik, what do you think of this?

And from one millennial to another, I'm not surprised either @IAmJess, we are pretty awesome! ;)
@TexChik Actually, cherry picking would be taking examples like Chicago, New York, LA, and Baltimore and using them to smear all millennials across the country.

The statistics above reflect the averages across a generation of Americans compared to previous generations. There will always be pockets that don't reflect the average.
sarabee1995 · 26-30, F
@TexChik @IAmJess I sure hope I'm not the start of an argument.

Tex, I just thought it would be fun to show you this given our recent conversation.

Jess, Tex is a very special women and someone I admire greatly.

You both seem to have strong opinions here and maybe it's best to agree to disagree? Hugs to you both!
TexChik · F
@sarabee1995 oh of course! I think we can disagree and not be angry... or at least I hope so . Besides she’s your friend... which already speaks well of her character. 😊

They suck dick at tipping though.
room101 · 51-55, M
@FearfulHarmonyReborn "tipping is a moral standard."

Really? How about employers paying a reasonable wage. Wouldn't that be a far better moral standard?
@room101 Define: "reasonable wage"
People can be paid seven dollars an hour to say hello to people that walk into WalMart.
room101 · 51-55, M
@FearfulHarmonyReborn Your second sentence is rather meaningless.

A reasonable wage is one that does not need to be supplemented by tips so that the employee can actually meet their financial requirements.
greenmountaingal · 70-79, F
I'm in my 70s. I worry about those polite young kids. If things get dull for them, I guess they can always consult my generation and we can give them some tips for wild, rebellious and crazy behavior. We have years of experience behind us.
@greenmountaingal Why would we want that?
greenmountaingal · 70-79, F
@IAmJess Just kidding, of course. I am delighted that your generation is so much smarter than we were in so many ways. We did have our better moments but we were young and sometimes excessive.
Carver · 31-35, F
Indeed! Too bad I couldn't have been from your generation. 😅
@Carver You're close enough! I grant you honorary membership! 👸
Carver · 31-35, F
@IAmJess Well thank you. 😊 But I grew up with a generation of fools. 🙃
@Carver That's okay, I'm starting a re-programming course for people entering my honorary millennial club. :)
I have actually noticed some of these. Especially the last two.
@canusernamebemyusername Well I don't have any basis for comparison, but I think my generation is great. :)
Goralski · 51-55, M
They seem boring
@Goralski Maybe you need to look deeper?
vetguy1991 · 51-55, M
Good to know
@vetguy1991 Yeah, so tell people to stop slamming millennials!
vetguy1991 · 51-55, M
@IAmJess lol ok, btw I never did
