If Snakes and Scorpions are coming in the house, then what should be done?

@Wateribbon So there is no way to seal the walls? Where I live we don't have snakes or scorpions but we do have mice and they can get into the house if it is not well sealed.

@Wateribbon I can believe it. The only snakes we have around here are garter snakes that are completely harmless to humans and they are so shy you very rarely see one. They are kind of cute though. I have never seen a wild scorpion.
