Do you take this site seriously ?

People need to get themselves some fresh air.

People have different expectations from this place. I don’t judge them for leaving because they have a bad experience here. It’s not everyone’s cup of tea.

It depends who you become friends with. I avoid the drama queens and trouble makers by blocking them.

When I come in here I never "expect" anything and I never know what to expect. I like getting into discussions as well as reading other people's more serious and deeper posts, questions, and stories...but I also like a little silliness, fun, and entertainment too. I share my thoughts and feelings about things and talk about things I generally do not elsewhere. I also can be sarcastic and joke around a bit too...I see nothing wrong with that. I do not however tolerate meanness, rudeness, hatefulness, deliberate instigating, and sh*t stirring in any social situation be it online or IRL.

it is what you make of it. i am sorry for people who are genuinely offended or upset here, but i think they could be that way anywhere.

some people here do set out deliberately to cause offence, but they are to be pitied.

mostly, we are a pretty mixed community

Like all sites, it has it's good and bad days.

There are occasions where it gets overrun by the idiots and trolls. But wait it out. They're never around for long.

There are many here who are great conversationalists.
There are many here who are really gifted in the advice department. Especially if they've been through your particular situation themselves !

A distraction. A change from the routine. Something to look forward to when u establish some connection.
A few msgs here n there. Some online compliments.. thats about it.
