Do you take this site seriously ?

I see a lot of people either leaving this site or threatening to leave because something on here as offended or upset them. Is it really a place to have serious, deep meaning conversations? Or do you treat it as just a distraction. A bit of fun. Or do some people see something here that I don’t ?

it is what you make of it. i am sorry for people who are genuinely offended or upset here, but i think they could be that way anywhere.

some people here do set out deliberately to cause offence, but they are to be pitied.

mostly, we are a pretty mixed community

@SW-User yes but the offensive fuckers almost certainly are not, because they are mostly too cowardly to be in open and attack people. they like to hide on line

@SW-User you are right not to take them seriously... but i have had many serious and productive discussions here with people from round the world, sharing experiences, learning. so that too is valuable, as i hope my input is valuable for them.
