No of course not.
Feeling offended is subjective to all individuals.
What offends you might not offend me nor anyone else
curiosi · 61-69, F
NO, absolutely not! I have seen posts on here where someone got "highly" offended and it sure looked as if it wasn't the intention of the other person. On the other hand I have seen many posts where many were called "moron" (myself included). The only way to be offended is if you value the other person's opinion. Unless of course you want to be offended as many do.

It all depends on the country you live in,solely due to fact some countries have citizens who are easily offended,Our country you can really speak freely and in a form that is like for like,an example would be,some folks use the N word, which is not considered racist here because black folk use it in conversation among themselves,The term Camel jockey applies to arab etc as it applies to how they moved around deserts by camel,so the use of speech is not censored nor seen as racist or racial discrimination, racial intolerance, etc,so in our county if your president is a arsehole/gobshite its printed or spoken in relation to his job/office,as such.We don't hold back and will tell you exactly where you stand in no uncertain terms, regardless of who or what you are,

Let me make my position perfectly clear:
No, but if one does say something stupid with the intent of being harmful, there should be ample return.

Example: Some 'cop' calls me something nasty out of the blue. A good backhanded slap from me has been earned and delivered.

Free Speech has no true reason to exist.
No. Being offended is not a physical danger. When being offensive is considered a crime, then the law-makers can define anything they like as offensive, and there is no more free speech - or free anything.

Naw. It's time to start lining those people up against a wall and shoot them.

That used to be the law, but it has changed a lot lately, has it not?
