Do you ever feel like you're always on the outside?

Like in friendship groups, or family, or chats?
Dusty101 · F
I did when I was in my final year at school!
It kinda upset me.
But then I learnt to embrace it and enjoy being on the outside looking in!
I feel its less overwhelming and I don't get bothered with who is doing what and I kinda like not being involved in stuff!
I do my own thing and keep only a small amount of friends!
Like one! 👍😉

Yes, with family. With everyone else, sort of the opposite. They keep dragging me into the middle of things, particularly things where someone needs to resolve an issue.
Sometimes - but that’s often because some people like to be joined at the hip and for the most part I don’t. It’s my choice, not theirs.
With family is really the only place I feel comfortable. Otherwise, yeah.

Yeah, but it’s just because I’m terrible with conversations, lol

Everything, yeah. But it doesn't bother me that much.

No, I hate people more and more each day and prefer to be left out of their idiotic discussions

Yes all the time

I choose that position because 1# I'm afraid of being rebuked 2# I'm tired of keeping up with people. It's just exhausting and I prefer loose connections.

@MartinTheFirst Hopefully, you don't resent me for it though. You know... copying you like that.

@MarkPaul if it's you it's you. I don't see this stuff as copying. Perhaps I'd call it learning.

@MartinTheFirst 🙂 Thanks.
