A Sad Realization

Tomorrow is my birthday and i’m going out to a bar to celebrate with a few coworkers. But none of them are personal friends of mine. None. They only work with me, they hardly know me. I hardly know them. It’s just an excuse to drink.

I’m turning 23 years old and not a single person at my birthday is a personal friend of mine. At least tomorrow I have an excuse to drink these thoughts away...

I haven’t had a real friend to drink with for 10 years of my life. The others I drank with were acquintces that I mostly tolerated.

I found it more enjoyable to drink alone at home. I could get as drunk as I wanted and have the privacy to do so.

Mine was last week although I am not a drinker. I ordered myself a bouquet of a dozen pink roses form the florist and sat her with them. Of course at my age I no longer have birthdays.
