[c=#7700B2]antidepressants, I don't hold in my feelings, just let it all out. bottling things up just makes everything so much worse. Music helps a lot, doing things to distract me like work and hobbies as well[/c]

I let the feeling pass, take medications for the main problem, it's just a symptom of it, work, work and work. Vent when needed. Jokes and humour, try to eat enough and healthy, stay alone and process my thoughts..etc

Music, keeping myself active, being open to doing things, social connections, and keeping myself involved with interests and passions all help me.
I took medication for a brief period of time but it didn’t really help the root causes although it did alleviate the symptoms of depression. I spent about a year constantly going back in my life and trying to figure out why I’m so fucking depressed. After I found out my depression is connected to several other things and experiences it was a little easier to deal with it. Right now I write, work out, listen to music when I’m going through bad times.
