Should a person bury their loved one in their back yard?

4meAndyou · F
I know about your recent loss, and I am sorry. If you have had your cat cremated, then you may keep his urn or box where ever you wish. After cremation, it is legal to bury the box of ashes in your back yard, and they have some very nice stones you can purchase from pet catalogs for that purpose. I don't have a back yard, since I live in an apartment, and I keep the little box hidden on the top of my china cabinet.

@4meAndyou Hidden?
4meAndyou · F
@MikefromEP It is at the far back and the cabinet is tall, so I never see it.

Why are you asking....*cue horror music*

@Longpatrol No murders were used in this question
Travelbug · 56-60, F
No. I wouldn't want to buy a property with a grave or graves there.

@Longpatrol Stephen King?

@MikefromEP cats and dogs ok, but not people.
Longpatrol · 31-35, M
@MikefromEP yep. The cat came back to life and started terrorizing them

Close to the back door, but you'll still hear them complain.

no it is not the place for it

Not these days -- it's against the law. But you can ride around the county here and find small family graveyards all over the place where farmers in the 1600-1800s buried the family essentially in the back yard.

Are you asking about your cat? If so, yes. I would.

Noooo 😩
I'm not sure it's legal around here. Well, perhaps pets.
