How did you discover your passion in life?

Or are you still searching for it?
Zoranna · F
When my mother took me to the public library for the first time when I was seven years old.
Zoranna · F
@SW-User Sharpies would just be a brand name, I've never heard them called that. Aussie slang does vary from the East Coast to the West though.
I'm going to love and leave you for a while, there's a show coming on that I want to watch but it's been lovely chatting with you. Bye for now. :-)
SW-User
@Zoranna Enjoy! Feel free to message me.
Zoranna · F
@SW-User Thanks. Likewise, bye. :-)

Sounds like you have found your choice :)
Zoranna · F
@SW-User Hahaha I see what you did there, very clever incorporating "the ashes". :-)
SW-User
@Zoranna It felt criminal not to. I love me some good word play.
@SW-User 😄

My passions come and go depending on where I am in life. The only true passion that has carried on over the years is reading.
Right now I am discovering a passion for elaborate cooking.
SW-User
@SW-User I am very odd. I am averse to certain textures. I love mixing and playing with dry ingredients, but hate mixing dry and wet. It is very juvenile. I believe also that I am scared to fail in the kitchen for some reason.
SW-User
@SW-User I totally understand being scared to fail in the kitchen. I still get insecure about trying new things and then I push myself. 8/10 times I am really happy with what I produce. :)
Enjoy your day/night. I must go now.
SW-User
@SW-User You as well.
I have no idea what my passion is or how to find it
SW-User
@Stark I have heard trying many different things helps, but it is difficult when you are unsure what to even try.
@SW-User true
TheProphet · M
When my grandfather taught me carpentry at 6.
TheProphet · M
@SW-User I wish he'd lived longer and taught me more.
SW-User
@TheProphet I have a similar experience. I think often about how things might be different if he had seen me grow into a man.
TheProphet · M
@SW-User I know.
pandainpinktutu · 26-30, F
3rd grade.
Realised that it's either that or nothing.
SW-User
@pandainpinktutu What passion did you discover?
pandainpinktutu · 26-30, F
@SW-User my main goal in life. What I aspire to be and currently working for.
In the journey towards it I have actually discovered myself to a whole new level and each day is a new lesson for me.
SW-User
@pandainpinktutu Care to say what that goal is?

My passion was mathematics, I found it in high school and then college crushed them
JRVanguard · 26-30, M
@Stark Yeah my high school was a bit like that too but if I understood how it worked I didn’t need the formulas. Like when you get into trigonometry and get to sin^2 +cos^2 = 1 they just expect that to make sense, but there’s a reason it works that they don’t bother to show you
@JRVanguard I think that’s what they were explaining in the video they actually mentioned how the formulas hold you back a bit due to that when it comes to solving other problems or something. It’s was mind blowing
JRVanguard · 26-30, M
@Stark Oh yeah when you see the formulas actually broken down and explained and understand them instead of remembering them it’s so much easier

I feel like my passion and talent is composing music but I haven't been able to do it since I became chronically and severely ill. Also the inspiration just strikes rarely and all at once so hard to get it all down - and not up to using computer much. Technology is developing though. I do have a deep respect and love of nature and different cultures too. What about you?
juiceyangel333 · 31-35, F
Searching I think
juiceyangel333 · 31-35, F
@SW-User there's always some hope
juiceyangel333 · 31-35, F
@sspec okay 🤗🤗
SW-User
@juiceyangel333 I am glad. You have a lot of time left to figure it out.
ISeeYou · M
The one that you keep coming back to maybe.
ISeeYou · M
@SW-User Wondering :)
SW-User
@ISeeYou Wondering is your passion? You must be a Philosopher, or an oracle.
ISeeYou · M
@SW-User :)
SW-User
Still confused I love to do a lot of things
SW-User
@SW-User I am in a similar situation. Jack of all trades, master of none?
Renikari · F
Just drawing and painting things.
SW-User
@Renikari Do you do so professionally then?
Renikari · F
@SW-User Sure.
Trial n error.
@SW-User For Life Herself.
SW-User
@sspec A passion that seems all too lacking in some unfortunately.
@SW-User Learning is a process with stages n all go through it at their pace. 👍 ✌
