Can someone please explain what " Normal " is?

There is no such thing! Everyone's perception is different.

Normal is a statistical term meaning the norm point in a distribution. However anyone actually having 2.2 kids would be far from normal. It is normal to be different. It would be abnormal to be normal.

If the majority of people think or do a certain thing then that thing is therefore the norm.

Normal is an illusion. What is normal for the spider, is chaos for the fly. What´s normal and what´s not depends on your point of view.

That's quite an interchangeable word depending on what the majority thinks and who you associate with.

Example : Many people feel it's quite normal to have a drink in the evening to unwind. Other people think that smoking a joint is more normal. Others think that doing either of those things is a sin.

Some cultures think that speaking to their dead ancestors for advice is normal. Other cultures will want to put you in Jail or behead you for doing that.

I think..people consider things normal if they're both common and expected

Normal is the kind of behaviour that leads to fewer conflicts in today's society. It's highly dependent on location and culture.

This is strictly my opinion.

I believe we can decide 'normal' by ourselves if our behavior won't hurt anyone and be illegal.
